Black Magic Gimbal Equalizer Harness Kit & Bag - Standard Size

Black Magic Equalizer® – Power Meets Comfort

The Equalizer® is a purpose-built gimbal and harness system designed to let you exert maximum pressure on your catch—without punishing your body in the process.

• All-Day Comfort: The lightweight harness and webbing are comfortable enough to wear all day. When the fish strikes, simply clip on the gimbal in seconds and you’re ready to go.

• Advanced Padding Technology: Engineered with sports medicine-grade padding—similar to what's used in rugby headgear—it enhances comfort and boosts blood circulation during long, intense fights.

• Effortless Power: With the Equalizer®, applying 30 pounds of pressure over the rod tip feels as easy as pulling 20 pounds with traditional systems.

• Stable in Rough Seas: Its unique design prevents sideways movement of the gimbal under load, even in choppy conditions.

• Optimized Leverage: The patented recessed gimbal pin sits lower and further back than other systems, allowing your body weight to work in your favor.

• Streamlined Strength: Moulded, contoured padding delivers a harness that’s stronger, lighter, and less bulky.

• Smooth Load Transfer: Free-running lug clips ensure even distribution of pressure across both support zones.

• Enhanced Reel Efficiency: A lower angle of pull increases pressure on reel lugs by up to 50%—without any extra effort from you.
