 1. Overview Welcome to GT Fishing & Tackle. We are a small, family-run fishing and tackle business based in Far North Queensland, Australia. These Terms of Service apply when you access our website, purchase products from us, or use any of our services. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot legally be excluded.

 2. Online Store We aim to ensure that all product information, descriptions, images, prices and availability displayed on our website are accurate. However, occasional errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors, update product information or cancel an order where there has been a genuine pricing, availability or product information error, subject to applicable Australian law. Product colours may also appear slightly different depending on photography, lighting and individual screen settings.

 3. Pricing All prices on our website are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without notice. Any applicable shipping charges will be displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.

 4. Orders Once you place an order, you will receive confirmation using the contact details provided at checkout. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where: * A product is unavailable * Incorrect pricing or product information has been displayed * We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity * We are unable to fulfil or deliver the order If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the applicable amount to your original payment method.

 5. Product Availability We operate both an online store and a home-based tackle store. Because stock may be sold through more than one channel, an item may occasionally become unavailable before our online inventory has been updated. If this happens after you place an order, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer an appropriate solution, such as an alternative product or refund.

6. Payment Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout. Orders will generally not be dispatched until payment has been successfully received or authorised. Payment services may be provided by third-party payment providers. Their own terms and privacy practices may also apply when you use their services.

 7. Shipping & Delivery GT Fishing & Tackle offers shipping within Australia to eligible locations. Delivery estimates are provided as a guide and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal or courier delays, severe weather, public holidays and other disruptions. Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout. If you provide an incorrect or incomplete delivery address and the parcel is returned to us, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be resent.

 8. Returns, Refunds & Warranties Returns, refunds, exchanges and warranty claims are handled in accordance with our Return & Warranty Policy and the Australian Consumer Law. We do not provide refunds simply for change of mind. However, at our discretion, eligible products may be accepted for exchange or store credit within the period specified in our Return & Warranty Policy. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected by this provision.

9. Manufacturer Warranties Some products sold by GT Fishing & Tackle are covered by manufacturer warranties. Where applicable, a warranty claim may require the product to be assessed by the manufacturer or authorised supplier. GT Fishing & Tackle will assist customers with warranty claims where appropriate. Manufacturer warranties operate in addition to any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Fishing equipment should always be used according to the manufacturer’s instructions and appropriate safety practices. GT Fishing & Tackle is not responsible for damage resulting from misuse, improper maintenance, neglect, incorrect storage, normal wear and tear or use outside a product’s intended purpose, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
